For crewing agencies
Every certificate, checked against the source — before you crew a vessel.
Give your superintendents, compliance officers and crewing desk one live view of every seaman: government-verified where possible, honestly labelled where not, and hard-blocked the moment a required cert lapses.
What you get — verification, crew compliance & pipeline
Every item below is live in the product today.
Trust & verification
Live government verification
Certificates are checked straight against the official maritime registry — no forged PDFs.
Verification levels L0–L3
Every document carries a graded trust level, from self-uploaded to government-verified.
Duplicate-person detect & merge
Fuzzy name matching flags likely same-person records; merge their documents into one profile.
Honest forgery signal
A possible-forgery duplicate warning — suppressed on government-verified documents the registry already confirmed.
Pipeline & throughput
5-stage pipeline board
Review → Accepted → Sent to sea → Coming back → Finished, with drag-and-drop and filters.
Single-seaman review
Open one seaman and approve or reject each document with a reason.
Attention table
A deduplicated list of expired, missing and duplicate items to clear.
CSV export of the crew list
Export your crew list to CSV for the tools you already use.
Compliance & lifecycle
Required document sets
Each agency configures its required set (STCW rank baseline); completeness recomputes automatically.
Sea-ready hard-block
An expired or missing required cert blocks 'Sent to sea' unless overridden with a logged reason.
SEA/CBA tracking + contract generation
Assignment-scoped doc sets, contract-end tracking, and Seafarer Employment Agreement generation.
Appraisal scorecards
Per-seaman performance scorecards you can keep alongside the profile.
External surfaces
Shipowner read-portal
A token-gated, read-only view for the shipowners you serve.
Docka-verified directory
A searchable directory of verified seafarers — dual consent, auth-gated and rate-limited.
Your moat: clients see crew THROUGH your agency (attribution) — you are never cut out of the deal.
Vacancy + candidate matching
Post a vacancy and match candidates against it.
Consent & multi-tenant isolation
Default-deny access — an agent only ever sees crew who granted them, with append-only consent logs.
How verification works
Docka checks each seafarer certificate against the issuing country's official maritime registry — live, where that registry supports it, and against an honest snapshot of the confirmed record where it does not. We never re-type a PDF and call it verified, and every document is labelled with exactly how much we could confirm.
L0
Unverified
A photo or file on record — not yet checked.
L1
Self-added
Details filled in by the seafarer, awaiting a check.
L2
Registry-confirmed
The document exists in the registry; holder not yet tied.
L3
Government-verified
Confirmed against the issuing country's registry.
